Alpha Principle was founded on the belief that significant wisdom, experience, and creativity are necessary to prosper. Our deepest desire is to serve those who seek to grow and protect their wealth while also using their wealth to make a positive difference in the world.

After many years as an investment analyst and financial advisor for high-net-worth executives, including several CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Eric started The Milestone Group in 1996. The company grew rapidly and reached over $2 billion in assets under management. Eric monetized the company to provide financial security for his family. To keep his investment skills sharp, Eric then served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for Advice Period, a company that managed over $4 billion at the time.

After contemplating his future in 2020, Eric concluded he was destined to manage investments for the rest of his life, which is when he formed a family office to continue managing his family’s wealth. Eric then conducted extensive research on many investment topics, including personalized indexing and the inevitable problem of rising interest rates. During this time of exploration, his faith in God also grew in ways he never expected. With faith as his motivator, Eric discovered values-based investing and how it could intersect with the pursuit of financial alpha (outperformance) to help make the world a better place.

Eric was then called to “greater purpose” which is when he turned his family office into an advisory firm that not only sought to produce outperformance for clients, but also had the impact our clients desired to make the world a better place. Eric followed this calling to launch Alpha Principle and formally opened the doors in early 2022.
