Eric Koeplin’s fascination with investing began in childhood, sparked by a keen interest in rare coins and a natural affinity for financial markets. His early exposure to numismatics and investment principles laid the foundation for a remarkable career. With comprehensive academic credentials, including undergraduate and graduate business degrees, Eric gained invaluable experience researching markets alongside industry giants like Dimensional Fund Advisors and Nobel laureate Eugene Fama.

As an investment analyst and financial advisor, Eric honed his skills by managing wealth for top executives, including CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. His entrepreneurial skills led him to establish The Milestone Group in 1996, growing it to manage $2 billion in assets. Thereafter, his experience grew further as Chairman of the Investment Committee at Advice Period, overseeing $4 billion in assets.

Eric’s enduring passion for investment management and a deepening faith inspired him to create a family office. This period of reflection and study reaffirmed his commitment to value-based investing, blending financial excellence with ethical considerations. Driven by a sense of greater purpose, Eric launched Alpha Principle, focusing on delivering both financial outperformance and meaningful world impact.
